The Road to Best-in-Class Service
Presenter
Darrell Bond, RADAR Solutions Group
Summary
The trend in the service industry today is to do
more with less. This doesn't necessarily translate into having
budgets slashed or "right-sizing" your teams, but more pointedly,
being pushed to deliver more and better service within the existing
infrastructure. Many service organizations today are struggling, and
in many cases failing, to meet this challenge.
The key to success in the service business today
will be achieved by evolving to a service delivery model that is
based on compliance to proven industry standards. Following these
standards will help institutionalize the necessary control needed to
run an effective service organization that will be positioned to
comfortably handle the future.
The presentation will:
-
Discuss some of the major issues facing service
organisations and where they originate
-
Identify their impact to cost, quality, effort,
and control
-
Demonstrate how service standards address these
issues
-
Present an approach for evolving to
Best-in-Class service
