“Help Desk/Customer Support organizations have become
more strategic. Our managers and our customers expect more of us. We
are at a point that we need to step up to the increasing expectations
or move aside and let someone else lead the organization. In January
2003 the HDI Strategic Advisory Board developed a support center
maturity model. Ron will present this model and challenge the attendees
to move towards higher levels of maturity in order to meet the
challenges of today and tomorrow.”

Biography
Ron Muns is an international leader in the help desk
and customer support industry and is frequently quoted on key issues
and concerns. He has more than 25 years of experience as the founder of
Help Desk Institute (HDI), as a software engineer, as the creator of
several successful commercial software products, as a "Big Six"
consultant, and as an IT strategist.
