IT Service Management and how ITIL is transforming the way we work.

Yves St-Arnaud, President / CEO StAY Technologies Inc.

Summary

Presentation will focus on the ITIL Framework; specifically how the framework is changing the way we need to provide IT Operations services and how it is transforming organizations. ITIL as now become the defacto standard for IT Service Management, it is used by a large amount of private and public organizations. Implementing processes is not just about developing an efficient process but most importantly how to integrate this new way of working within the culture of an organization. This presentation will provide some important points to consider when you will be faced with either implementing or using a new process in your organization. It is geared for all level of staff within an organization from service desk agents to managers.

Biography

Yves has been in the IT industry for 19 years mainly working in the field of IT Service Management (ITSM). He has held various technical and management positions within the Canadian Federal Government and is currently the President/CEO of STAY Technologies Inc, an Ottawa-based IT Service Management Consulting and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Accredited training company.

Mr. St-Arnaud holds an Informatics diploma from the Outaouais CEGEP and is a graduate of the Université du Québec in Hull in Business Administration. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation from the PMI Institute and holds various ITIL Certifications.

Mr. St-Arnaud’s experience presenting to various Federal Government organizations on ITSM is extensive. He is a frequent speaker at DPI, CIPS, GTEC and other National Conferences. Yves has provided more than 100 presentations to various Canadian and American organizations on the ITIL Framework and ITSM.

His company, StAY Technologies, is exclusively specialized in transforming IT organization and the implementation of ITIL based ITSM processes and is fast becoming the ITIL Training provider of choice in Canada. Furthermore, StAY is also involved in various ITSMF publications.
