This is a two-part metrics presentation. In March Bob will conduct an interactive session to discuss
the basics of metrics, what needs to be measured from an
operational perspective, and how to use metrics to move the
service desk to the next level. What makes sense to measure
for my desk? How do I move toward standardization? Where
does this thing called a balanced score card fit?

Our program is your program!
Welcome to the 2007/2008 Ottawa Chapter program. You may
recall that your executive team promised to bring you a balanced variety
of speakers and events for the coming year. The year has been planned in
advance and we have some great events taking place.
It is the Ottawa HDI Chapter's goal to establish an environment that
will provide our members opportunities for the following:

- Best Practice expertise
- Access to industry information
- Learning / education
- Tours
- FUN!!
Our schedule also allows you to see a wide array of Best Practices
and participate in industry educational opportunities.
Each of our events will be sponsored by industry leading
organizations and their sponsorship will ensure we can provide first
class events. Sponsors can contribute in various ways such as providing
facilities, tours, catering, and/or subject matter experts.
Circle the following dates on your calendar. We meet on
every 3rd Wednesday morning of the month except for December and the
summer months. The dates are:
2008: January 16, February 20, March 19, April 16, May 15.
