Users require access to company systems around the clock, and
with escalating security requirements, the requirements on IT
departments are increasing.
Given the incidence of multi-pronged attacks against
corporate and customer portal systems, there is a need for self
service solutions to address questions of securing access, and
provide authenticated users with the ability to restore their
access. Forgotten
user names and pass words consume a significant amount of time
for help desks and service desks today.
As service organizations are being pressured to “do more
with less” we have to look to technology to reduce the instances
of this less productive task.
Joining us for the November HDI Ottawa meeting is guest
speaker Corey Coblentz from SOFTEL Communications to discuss
approaches to this challenge.
